Nap Manor Hostels is an adults-only backpacker hostel in Santacruz East, Mumbai, a short distance from the airport and the metro. Guests must be aged between 18 and 55. The hostel has 9 rooms across 7 room types: 42 dormitory beds in mixed and female dorms, plus three private rooms, one of which is en-suite.
Every room is air-conditioned, and every bed has its own personal locker and a power outlet beside it. Bathrooms have rainfall showerheads and hot water. Towels are provided free in the private rooms and are available in the dormitories for a small charge.
A complimentary buffet breakfast is served daily from 08:30 to 10:30, with an Indian dish, fruit, boiled eggs, eggs cooked to order, bread, butter, jam, tea and coffee.
There is a coffee shop and a snack bar on site, both chargeable, along with vending machines and a shared kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and oven. The ground-floor hall is the heart of the hostel: a communal lounge with a TV, projector, games console and karaoke,guests gather in the evenings. The first floor has a quiet library and workspace with books and board games. There is a small prayer room, and an outdoor area at the back with the smoking area and a clothes-drying rack. The hostel runs live music nights, movie screenings, karaoke, DJ parties, pub crawls and walking tours.
Reception is staffed 24 hours. Luggage storage is free before check-in and after check-out. Staff speak several languages and can arrange taxis, car hire and laundry or dry cleaning through a local partner. Printing and photocopying are available for a charge. An iron and ironing board are available for guests to use. Santacruz metro station is a 0.4 km walk and Santacruz railway station is 0.9 km away. Terminal 1 of Mumbai airport is 3.7 km from the hostel and Terminal 2 is 6.3 km, roughly 15 to 25 minutes by road. Check-in is from 13:00 and check-out is by 11:00.
